The Ultimate November Social Media Content Calendar

November splits in two. The first three weeks are spread out and mostly mid-week, which makes them straightforward to plan around. Then the last five days carry Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday in a row, and nothing made in that window gets made calmly.

Three dates are worth real effort. Remembrance Day and Veterans Day share Wednesday 11th, and both want something considered rather than a quick graphic. Diwali lands on Sunday 8th, so plan to have it finished and scheduled by the Friday before. Black Friday on the 27th is the one date this month where being a day late costs you measurable reach.

Skip the rest if they do not fit your audience. Movember runs the whole month and gives you a reason to post more than once without inventing a new angle every time. Every date below comes with a template to start from, so you are editing a finished structure rather than opening a blank canvas.

Here's what's coming up.

🔥Bonfire Night

Bonfire Night marks the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 with bonfires, fireworks and community displays across the UK. For any organization running an event, or with sites near one, it is also the busiest safety briefing night of the year.

VideoScribe Tip

If your team is staffing a display, running a works event or managing a site close to one, make the safety briefing watchable. A two-minute animated run through marshal positions, exclusion zones and what to do if something goes wrong gets read by more people than a laminated sheet on the wall.

📄World Paper Free Day

World Paper Free Day asks organizations to go without printing for a day and to look honestly at what they print the rest of the year. It tends to expose the handouts, forms and printed reports nobody actually reads.

VideoScribe Tip

Take the printed report you reissue every quarter and rebuild it once as an animated infographic. The figures change each quarter, the structure does not, so you re-record one version rather than reprinting the whole thing.

🪔Diwali

Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated by Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities worldwide and is a public holiday across much of India. In 2026 it falls on Sunday 8th November, so anything you post needs to be finished and scheduled before the weekend.

VideoScribe Tip

Send a greeting that names your own people rather than a stock one. A short animated message from a team lead, in the languages your workforce actually speaks, works for both internal comms and your customer channels.

🌺Remembrance Day and Veterans Day

The UK marks Armistice Day with a two-minute silence at 11am, and the United States observes Veterans Day as a federal holiday honoring those who served. Both call for restraint in how a business marks them.

VideoScribe Tip

If you employ veterans or reservists, ask one of them whether they would like their service recognized, then build the piece around what they tell you. Keep it quiet and factual, and post it without a product message attached.

💙World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day was introduced in 1998 to encourage small, deliberate acts of consideration. In a workplace it lands best when it points at something concrete rather than a poster about being nice to each other.

VideoScribe Tip

Most companies already offer volunteering days, matched giving or wellbeing support that half the staff have forgotten about. Walk through what is available and how to claim it, and the day produces something people use.

🤝International Day for Tolerance

Established by the United Nations, the International Day for Tolerance addresses discrimination and the value of difference in public life. For employers it is a natural prompt to revisit the policies that cover behavior at work.

VideoScribe Tip

Your code of conduct or inclusion policy is probably a PDF that gets acknowledged and never opened. Rebuild the core of it as a short animated module, with the scenarios people actually run into, and use it in induction from now on.

🎓International Students' Day

International Students' Day commemorates the 1939 storming of Prague University and now marks student activism and the student experience more broadly. It is a good hook for anyone who recruits early-career talent.

VideoScribe Tip

Graduate and placement adverts compete with hundreds of identical job listings. An animated version of your vacancy, covering the work, the team and the route in, gives students something they can watch on a phone and send to a friend.

🧔International Men's Day

International Men's Day focuses on men's health, positive role models and the gap between the support available and the number of men who use it. It sits in the middle of Movember, which runs all month and raises money for the same causes.

VideoScribe Tip

Pick one thing your employees can act on, such as how to book a health check through your provider or what the employee assistance program covers, and explain it properly in ninety seconds. An explainer that answers a real question outperforms an awareness post.

🦃Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a federal holiday in the United States, held on the fourth Thursday of November, and it closes most American offices for the rest of the week. Anything you want live that day needs to be scheduled by Wednesday.

VideoScribe Tip

A thank-you that names something specific beats a generic seasonal card. Pick the customers, partners or team members who made the year work and say what they did, then schedule it to go out while people are still at their desks on the Wednesday.

Say thank you →

🛍️Black Friday

Black Friday follows Thanksgiving and now runs well beyond a single day in most markets. Feeds are saturated, attention is short, and a discount posted late competes with everyone else's posted on time.

VideoScribe Tip

Make the offer video before the week starts and build it so the numbers are the only thing you swap. One structure, three cuts for different channels, all exported the week before, means you spend the day responding to comments instead of making assets.

Announce your offer →

💻Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday closes the retail weekend and skews online, which makes it the better of the two dates for software, subscriptions and anything sold without a storefront. It is also the last day of November, so it doubles as the handover into your December plan.

VideoScribe Tip

If you sell a subscription rather than a product, use the day to explain what someone gets for the discounted price rather than shouting the percentage. A short walkthrough of the plan converts better than a price card.

Promote your deal →

Get November planned

The end of this month is unforgiving. Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday fall across five days, so block out an afternoon in the first half of November and make all three then, while there is still room to think.
