New images of people in healthcare

The most highly requested addition is 170 new images of medical staff including Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Dentists, Opticians and Orderlies. There are also images specifically aimed at the current COVID-19 crisis including ventilators, PPE and testing.

Designed to help you teach students about the crucial role healthcare workers play in preventing, controlling and managing COVID-19. You can find these images in the health folder in the image library or by searching for key phrases like 'doctor'.

New COVID-19 specific icons

To support images of people involved in the fight against coronavirus, we've also added a number of new COVID-19 specific icons to the icons folder. These include graphics related to hand washing, social distancing, symptoms and stay home messages.

All of our icons are created to help you communicate even the most complex topics with ease by distilling the message into a simple graphic. Find these in the icons folder, or by searching for related terms like 'COVID-19'.

New images of people in sport

While your students might not be participating in team sports currently, learning about physical activity is still super important. Our new images of people in sport will help you educate students about different types of sport and staying healthy, even from afar.

Don't forget to customize these images, change the colors to suit your school, team or messaging! You can find these images in the sport folder, or by searching for specific activities like 'cycling'.

Simple animated explainer video template

We also launched two new explainer video templates. The first being this simpler version that focuses on building imagery and content around a word. In this case we've used 'art' as an example but it could be anything from a subject to a theory.

We designed this template to be as easy to use and edit as possible which makes it great for children just starting out on their animation journey, or even teachers and colleagues wanting to quickly create polished videos.

Whiteboard animation explainer video template

The second of our explainer video templates is a little more advanced. You can see we've included space for much more imagery to tell your story in greater depth. While this template helps you create a more impressive video, it's just as easy to use by switching out our images for your own!

You can find further advice and resources for planning and storyboarding an explainer video here, using this template as your starting block.

Graffiti style video template

Looking for an eye-catching way to present information? Our new graffiti video template can help. The bright colors and unique design grabs student attention and helps them understand concepts by breaking them down into manageable chunks.

Simply switch out the images and text to suit your topic and watch your own section of wall come to life. This is also a fun and virtual way for students to present their work back to your class.

Happy birthday ecard template for kids

Lastly, don't let social distancing stop you from celebrating student birthdays. You and your class can still mark special occasions with video which is why we created this customizable ecard. Change the colors and message or add photos to make this video your own, then hit publish to share!
