2.2-beta-notes

VideoScribe 2.2 beta was released on Tuesday 24 March 2015. Pro users can trial a number of improvements in the 2.2 beta, including thousands of new high-quality images and easier movement between timeline elements.

If you're a VideoScribe Pro user, login to your Sparkol account to download and start using the 2.2 beta.

Access 1000s of new professional images

Access thousands of new premium images from professional artists. Some are free to download (shown with a blue ribbon) and others are for sale (red ribbon).

The free VideoScribe library images are all still available and these will continue to appear first in your search results.

Preview elements set to morph

You can now preview elements that you set to morph within the image properties view.

Previously, you could only preview individual elements that were set to draw or move in.

Drag an element across the canvas

Click, hold and drag an element and - when you reach the canvas edge - the canvas will shift and allow you to keep dragging the element further away from your starting point.

Edit image properties in sequence

You can now edit an image's properties and use the 'edit next or previous image' icons to quickly edit another image's properties.

Previously, to edit the properties of an image you selected each one in turn from the timeline.

Cancel a loading scribe with escape key

If you open the wrong scribe by mistake, just hit the escape key to stop the load in its tracks.

Previously, you had to wait for it to load before simply closing it again.

There are also some small but useful stability improvements. Skipping through shorter elements when you preview a scribe is more efficient.
