# The 2020 VideoScribe Awards winners! 🏆

Drumroll please... That's right, the time has come to announce the winners of the 2020 VideoScribe awards! 

But first, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone who entered. We were blown away by the quality, creativity and storytelling magic in the hundreds of entries we received and it made picking a shortlist very tricky.

But, after much deliberation, our judges confirmed their three shortlisted videos for each category, ready to ask you to vote for your ultimate winners.

Now the votes have been counted and we're very excited to present, the winners of the 2020 VideoScribe Awards! 🎉

## Most creative use of VideoScribe winner: T**ruco & Educo**

Just watching the first few seconds of this video, it's clear why Truco & Educo have been crowned our most creative use of VideoScribe winner.

The combination of animations and film clips is not only engaging and eye-catching but it helps reinforce the message of the video and explain concepts. A really effective technique that we're sure will inspire lots of other VideoScribers to experiment with!

## Best educational scribe winner: Tzonka

The measure of success for an educational video is how easy it makes learning something new. In this case, Tzonka makes fractions super simple to understand with lots of examples and visuals, walking us through the information at the perfect pace. We're not surprised this awesome animation has been crowned our best educational scribe!

## Best marketing or sales focused scribe winner: Carole

There's a reason two of Carole's videos were shortlisted in the awards - because they're incredible! With high quality custom animations, Carole helps others tell their story and highlight the benefits of their products and services. And how great are those pen sound effects?! 🙌

## Scribe that tells the best story winner: Chris

When it comes to storytelling, there was one clear winner. We loved Chris' animation of his personal story and so did you!

In only a couple of minutes, Chris transported us to his home town and we relived pivotal moments in his life that led him to where he is now.

## Best overall scribe of 2020 winner: T**ruco & Educo**

And lastly, the one you've all been waiting for... Our best overall scribe of 2020 winner is the awesome Truco & Educo with their video on how to teach children to pronounce 'R' sounds correctly. 

Our community not only thought this video was incredibly creative but that it should win the coveted position of best scribe. Massive congratulations to Truco & Educo on such a fantastic video, we can't wait to see what you'll create in 2021!
