What is Diwali?

Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. It's a time to celebrate the triumph of good over evil and welcome in new beginnings.

The word Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word deepavali which means "rows of lighted lamps". Oil lamps called diyas are an important part of the celebration, used to light houses, streets and shops. It's also a time to visit relatives, host feasts and enjoy fireworks.

Our bright, fun and colorful Diwali template will ensure your message stands out from the crowd. Check out the new customizable template below.

Here are just a few of the ways you could share your animation for maximum impact πŸ‘‡

How to share this animation in emails

Adding your custom animation to emails is a great way to engage your existing community and colleagues. Plus the added movement keeps readers engaged for longer and will help you stand out from the crowd.

So, how do you actually include your video in an email? Since most email providers don't support embedded videos, we recommend downloading your animation as a GIF. These short animated clips will automatically play when your reader opens the email and catch their eye. To turn this animation into a GIF in VideoScribe for Browser, simply choose the 'Download as GIF' option.

If you're using VideoScribe for Desktop then download your video file and use a free GIF maker like ezgif.com to convert it into a GIF file and upload into your email. Boom, it's as easy as that!

Our quick animation explains this process in more detail πŸ‘‡

Sharing your animation on social media

Video is also perfect for sharing on social media. Whether it's YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram, video is proven to attract more engagement and keep audiences hooked on your content.
