The 2021 VideoScribe Awards winners! 🏆

Drumroll please... That's right, the time has come to announce the winners of the 2021 VideoScribe awards!

But first, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone who entered. We were blown away by the quality, creativity and storytelling magic in the hundreds of entries we received and it made picking a shortlist very tricky 👏

But, after much deliberation, our judges confirmed their three shortlisted videos for each category, and you've voted for your ultimate winners.

Now the votes have been counted and we're very excited to present, the winners of the 2021 VideoScribe Awards! 🎉

Most creative use of VideoScribe winner: Manuela

When we started watching this video and found we couldn't stop, we knew it had to make our shortlist... Clearly you agreed that the imaginative animations, storytelling and personal journey was magic because overwhelmingly Manuela was crowned our most creative use of VideoScribe winner!

We love the way Manuela has created her own animated worlds to help us understand the journey she's been on to become a video editor. It really helps us empathize with her and consider our own struggles to find the right path. We're sure this video is going to inspire lots of other VideoScribers to take their animations to the next level!

Best educational scribe winner: Pierre

The measure of success for an educational video is how easy it makes learning something new. In this case, Pierre makes understanding continuous and sequential welcomes easy with lots of examples, mini quizzes and awesome illustrations.

We're not surprised this fantastic animation has been crowned our best educational scribe!

Best marketing or sales focused scribe winner: Carole

When it comes to explaining how organizations help their customers, few VideoScribers do it better than Carole! The quality of animations, the crisp audio and incredible storytelling make Carole's videos eye-catching, super engaging, and most importantly, memorable.

Plus, special shout out to Carole for winning this category for the second year ✨ Your animations are firm favorites with our community, and rightly so! 👏

Scribe that tells the best story winner: Lyn

When it comes to storytelling, there was one clear winner. We loved Lyn's story for the Deafness Resource Centre, showing how their resources can transform the lives of young people who are D/deaf.

Throughout the story we get to know the main character, Benny, and can start to put ourselves in his shoes, helping us understand just how important the Centre is.

Best overall scribe of 2021 winner: Manuela

And lastly, the one you've all been waiting for... Our best overall scribe of 2021 winner is the awesome Manuela with her video on her journey to finding the right career.

Our community not only thought this video was incredibly creative but that it should win the coveted position of best scribe. Massive congratulations to Manuela for such a fantastic video, we can't wait to see what you'll create in 2022!
