# New animated video template to celebrate Burns Night
Posted by [Naomi Linford](https://blog.videoscribe.co/author/naomi-linford) on December 22, 2021
On January 25th we'll be celebrating the life and poetry of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns. Burns was not only a popular poet locally but his work is recognized internationally with his best known song being Auld Lang Syne. Most of us can probably quote his poem 'A Red, Red Rose' too!
It's for this reason Burns is regarded as the national poet of Scotland and Burns Night is also a celebration of his contribution to Scottish culture. The night itself is a time to feast on a delicious Scottish supper, spend time with friends and family, dance and sing! Which is why we thought it was only right we match the celebrations with our own animated video template. Helping you celebrate the poet and invite friends to your Burns Night supper 🏴
Read on to see this template in action 👇
## Burns Night animated video template
If you want to create your own animations to celebrate Burns Night, we have just the thing - our animated template. As you can see below, it features a classic tartan background, a brand new image of Robert Burns and a quote from one of his famous poems.
While we've chosen this quote, you could switch out the text for your own favorite Burns poems. Just double click to edit! Likewise, you could also change the color of the tartan, switch up the fonts or even expand on the content to share a whole poem.
Another nice idea would be to add a voice-over reading one of Burns' poems. Not only would this bring his work to life but really add atmosphere to your animation.
